The Rajasthan Police has arrested three persons in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, saying they were allegedly trying to influence tribals to convert to Christianity.
Vijendra Singh, a teacher in a private school, along with two others Sai Ram and Kashi Ram was arrested under section 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognizable offences) of CrPC, police said.
The accused were arrested from 20 BD village in Khajuwala with Christian literature to influence tribals. The accused will be produced before the court on Wednesday, SHO Khajuwala Vikram Singh said.
He said the police will have to investigate whether the accused have any past criminal record.
