"Channels as well as newspapers should maintain credibility in order to win confidence of people and should refrain from flashing misleading news with distorted facts," Raje said at the inauguration of a Rajasthan Bulletin of local new channel ETV here.
"A channel should not be run to gain TRP. News should be credible and the channel or newspaper should present truth for winning people's confidence," Raje said.
She said that for various reasons, media sometimes flash incorrect or sensational news with distorted facts. "If this continues, the media will loose its credibility one day," she warned.
