Raje said the project should be completed in given time frame and the money and resources should not be misused.
Chairing a meeting to review the project, she asked the officials to explore possibilities to fulfill financial needs of the project through National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), official sources said.
The project, to be completed in three phases, will benefit Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawaimadhopur, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Alwar, Jaipur, Tonk, Dausa and Ajmer.
Available water in the sub-basins of Chambal, Banas, Parvati and Kalisindh rivers and their tributaries will be used for the project which is aimed at fulfilling the water demands of these districts up to the year 2051.
