The delegation led by Frank La Rue, Assistant Director General for Communication and Information at United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), apprised the minister about the organisation's activities in the field of media and communication.
"Possible areas of collaboration with the government were also highlighted by the delegation," an official statement said.
Regarding the issues related to freedom of press, Rathore said the government "believes in the philosophy of self regulation," it said.
