Ramco Systems bags order from PORR Qatar Construction

Human resources and payroll software provider Ramco Systems has bagged an order from PORR Qatar Construction WLL, part of European construction major PORR Group.
The PORR Group, for its Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) operation, would implement Ramco HCM's complete suite, including core HR, time and attendance, employee benefits, payroll and talent management, city-based Ramco Systems said in a statement.
PORR has been present in Qatar since 2011 and has been involved in infrastructure projects -- including construction of Doha Metro, Al Wakrah Stadium.
"We have been heavily investing in GCC market and ramping up our workforce. To streamline and manage this growing workforce, we needed a complete HCM system which was functionally deep, encompassing global best practices while adhering to regional nuances and compliance," PORR Qatar Construction, Financial Managing Director, Marc Krouse said.

"We evaluated both existing and multiple global HR solutions and finalised on Ramco's comprehensive suite as it scored high on many parameters", he added.
Ramco Systems CEO Virender Aggarwal said winning the regional HR mandate of a European major was testament of the strong footing that the company has in the Middle East.
"We have been winning the trust of global MNCs looking at consolidated their operations in Middle East, Asia on a unified platform", he added.
