Ramco to provide aviation IT solutions to US-based firm

Software products firm Ramco Systems today announced a partnership with US-based aviation company Dynamic Aviation.
Dynamic Aviation, which provides innovative aviation solutions to government and commercial organisations, has chosen Ramco Aviation Suite with Ramco HCM to help integrate its business operations under one platform, the Chennai-based firm said in a release.
In order to get a seamless and integrated view of its worldwide operations, Dynamic Aviation will implement Ramco's full-suite aviation software including fleet maintenance tracking and management, supply chain management, flight contracting and billing, and Human Resource management.
Ramco provides aviation solutions to Emirates, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines Engineering Company, Petroleum Helicopters, Columbia Helicopters, Air Methods and 66 others.
* * * * * Singapore Airlines, TCS introduce mobile app for cabin crew * IT services major TCS today said it has in partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) introduced TCS CrewCollab Solution, a tablet-based mobile app for cabin crew to deliver more personalised customer service and to automate and streamline in-flight processes for cabin crew.
The application has been jointly developed through a collaboration project by SIA and TCS, which leverages on SIA's service excellence and TCS' strength in digital technology development, the Mumbai-based firm said in a release.
SIA is the launch customer for TCS CrewCollab Solution and its cabin crew are now using it on board. Crew can view information which traditionally has been in paper format, such as customer service lists, flight information and crew lists, digitally via tablets during flights, it added.
* * * * * Figure 1 launches app for healthcare professionals in India * Figure 1 today announced the launch of its free photo-sharing platform for healthcare professionals in India, the first Asian market for the company.
The app, which is used by over 150 000 people, enables healthcare professionals and students across the globe to connect, discuss, and share de-identified content, it said in a release.
Figure 1's images are viewed more than 1.5 million times per day, it added.
Already popular in the US, the UK and Europe, the firm expects to gain quick traction among India's 2.3 million strong healthcare professionals. Figure 1 launched in May 2013 and has attracted users from over 48 countries.
