In his letter, Ramdev also sought fixing up the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for turmeric.
K Kavitha, who has been championing the cause of establishing a 'national turmeric board', had recently met the Yoga Guru and sought his support for her demand to set up the board, a release said today.
A copy of Baba Ramdev's letter was made available here.
The MP also told Ramdev about the need to determine the MSP for turmeric farmers, it said.
Kavitha, who represents Nizamabad seat, had earlier met Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi with her demand, it said.
Telangana has a considerable population of turmeric farmers.
