In a fresh proceeding under section 82 of the CrPC initiated recently, the court has given time to Mohanty to appear before June 18.
If he fails to appear by the given time period, further proceedings to declare him proclaimed offender will be initiated by the court.
Announcement to this effect as per the direction of the court has been passed at the residences of Mohanty in Odisha and Jaipur, according to an official release by Jaipur police.
The state government suspended Additional Chief Secretary rank official Mohanty, who was then posted as Chairman of the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal over allegation of sexual exploitation in February.
