Ratlam-Fatehbad broadgauge section becomes operational

Western Railway has started operating services on newly-converted broadguage section between Fatehabad and Ratlam.
"The metreguage railway line from Ratlam to Indore was converted into broadguage in two phases from Ratlam to Fatehabad in first phase and Fatehabad to Indore in second," Ratlam rail division spokesman Jitendra Kumar Jayant told reporters.
The traffic on the first phase has begun while it will begin from tomorrow for the second phase with the DEMU train running as per its schedule.
