Ravinder Kumar Jain appointed NDMA Secretary

Senior IAS officer Ravinder Kumar Jain was today appointed as Secretary of the National Disaster Management Authority.
Jain, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, is working as Additional Secretary in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
He has been appointed in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary in place of Satyanarayan Mohanty, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
Mohanty, a 1980 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Secretary in Department of Higher Education.
