Rawat convenes Cabinet meeting tomorrow

With President's rule in Uttarakhand having been lifted, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has convened a meeting of the state cabinet tomorrow morning.
"A meeting of the state cabinet has been convened here by the Chief Minister tomorrow morning at 9 AM, Rawat's media adviser Surendra Kumar said.
Asked whether Rawat will assume office tonight as Chief Minister,Kumar said formal assumption of office by the CM is not necessary as he does not have to take charge from anyone else.
He cited the Supreme Court'sorder earlier in the day and said that after the President's rule is revoked, Rawat can assume office of the Chief Minister.
