RBI inks MoU with Korea for supervisory co-op, info exchange
Press Trust of India Mumbai The Reserve Bank has signed an MoU with financial regulators in South Korea for supervisory cooperation and exchange of information.
"The RBI today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and the Financial Supervisory Services (FSS), Republic of Korea," RBI said in a release.
The MoU was signed by Je-Yoon Shin, Chairman, FSC; Soohyun Choi, Governor, FSS and Harun R Khan, Deputy Governor, RBI.
The signing ceremony was held at the FSC Head Quarters in Seoul.
The RBI has been signing the MoUs and the Letter for Supervisory Co-operation with supervisors of other countries to promote greater co-operation and share supervisory information among the authorities.
