Re/Max ropes in Lara Dutta, Bhupati as brand ambassadors

Real estate firm Re/Max today said it has signed bollywood actor Lara Dutta and her tennis icon husband Mahesh Bhupati as brand ambassadors.
The couple will be endorsing a real estate venture for the first time in India, the company said in a statement.
"Both Lara and Mahesh bring all these qualities and much more in their personalities which instantly connects with people through their professional achievements and the pride they have brought to the country," RE/MAX India COO Yatin Sharma said.
******************** H&M to open first store in Raipur *
Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) said it will be opening its first store in Raipur on November 29, 2017 as part of its tier 2 expansion plans.
This continues the brands expansion into tier II markets such as Amritsar, Indore and Coimbatore which launched earlier in the year, H&M said in a statement.
H&M currently operates stores in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Amritsar, Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Mohali.
******************** Fendi enters into alliance with German label Rimowa *
Italian luxury fashion house Fendi has entered into alliance with German label Rimowa, known for its futuristic and hard-case luggage for a designer luggage.
Both the global leaders would "create a one-of-a- kind piece" in the premium luggage segment, said a statement.
This would be launched here in the New Delhi store on November 27, 2017 and will be retailed at Rs 1.38 lakh.
Commenting on the development Rimowa CEO Alexandre Arnault said:" A large part of our clients come from the fashion industry. Therefore, we wanted to get closer to a fashion brand in order to mix our worlds perfectly. Fendi seemed like the perfect partner, given their DNA and appetence to make fun things.
*********************** IIM-Shillong team to be part of NITI's Atal Innovation Mission *
A team of IIM Shillong will become part of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of NITI Aayog to bring technological innovation into India's agricultural sector.
The team "Easy Company' of IIM Shillong was the winner of the sixth edition of the case study challenge conducted by Yes Bank Transformation Series in partnership with Atal Innovation Mission.
The challenge was themed on Transform India Into Smart Agri Nation.
The winning team, bagging Rs 5 lakh prize money, will get an opportunity to work on a case set by AIM and will also get a chance for a pre-placement interview with Yes Bank.
NITI's/AIM's vision is to accelerate the adoption of technologies for the growth of farmer incomes as well as job creations, said Ramanan Ramanathan, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission in a statement.
He said there is a great opportunity to leverage technology in boosting agri and farmer productivity, boosting farm income, reducing costs and climatic dependency as well as improving storage and distribution among others.
