Suspended AAP MLA Kapil Mishra, who has levelled serious bribery charges against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, barely attempted to conceal that he had voted for NDA's presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind.
"I have voted for the person who will take oath as the next President of India. I have made the right choice," Mishra said.
Asked to elaborate further, Mishra said, "You can build your inferences."
AAP had declared support for Kumar last week. With the numbers favouring Kovind, it is more than likely that he will be elected to the top constitutional post.
Harinder Singh Khalsa, an MP from Fategarh Sahib in Punjab, did not reveal for whom he cast his vote, but said he voted "as per his choice".
The AAP has "forfeited" its right to tell him who to vote for because of its treatment to its lawmakers in Punjab, the rebel MP said.
The party's Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi, who has been suspended along with Khalsa, also said that he voted "as per his choice and conscience", adding that the party whip is not applicable for the presidential and vice-presidential polls.
