Rebel Congress leader Shayam lal Pujari continued his protest against alleged discrimination by the party against Balmiki and Dalit community members in the list of candidates nominated for Lok Sabha elections, with his indefinite fast entering the third day.
Pujari, accompanied by his wife and supporters, has been protesting outside the Congress office here since March 9.
He was expelled for six years from the party on Sunday after he alleged that party's National General secretary Madhusudan Mistry was selling the LS tickets.
"Mistry is taking Rs 50 lakh for giving Congress tickets", Pujari had alleged, following which party state president Nirmal Khatri expelled him.
