The 'How We Do' hit maker said she never leaves the house without slicking on her signature bright red lipstick, reported Contactmusic.
"Wearing red lipstick, in my opinion, is the simplest way to make an impact. As soon as I slick it on, I feel instantly pulled together, more powerful, more womanly. I wear it all, almost every day," she said.
The 22-year-old star started experimenting with red lips in a bid to give her daring style more edge as a teenager.
"My taste for standing out started when I worked at a sneaker store in high school. People would constantly compliment me on my bright trainers, and I found myself loving the unexpected attention.
