Refined palmolein rebounds on good demand

Refined palmolein rebounded at the Vashi oils and oilseeds Wholesale market here today on good demand from retailers following higher Malaysian cues.
Groundnut oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial moved up further on consistent demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil gained owing to improved demand from paint and allied industries.
In futures trade, castorseeds September contract gained modestly in a volatile activity amid good export enquiries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein climbed by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 537 from Monday's closing level of Rs 532. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 970 per 10 kg.

Turning to non-edible section, castorseed bold advanced by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,550 from Rs 3,525, castor oil commercial went up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 740 from Rs 735 and Linseed oil rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 735 as against Rs 730 previously.
Moving to futures, castorseeds September contract resumed higher at Rs 3,570 and moved in a range of Rs 3,587 and Rs 3,560 before settling at Rs 3,578 from Rs 3,563 previously, showing a modest gain of Rs 15 per tonne.
