While, groundnut oil ruled stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial moved up due to modest offtake from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil rose due to good demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein gained by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 515 from Monday's closing level of Rs 510 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 925.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold went up by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 4,075 from overnight closing level of Rs 4,040 and castor oil commercial edged up to Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 845 from Rs 838.
