Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.39 per cent to Rs 572.75 per 10 kg in futures trading today on positive cues from spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil contract for June month gained Rs 2.20, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 572.75 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,22,180 lots.
Likewise, the April month contract edged up by Rs 1.45, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 600.10 per 10 kg in 19,770 lots.
Market analysts said fresh positions created by speculators due to pick up in demand in spot market led to rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
Prices rose at physical markets due to restricted arrivals from producing belts, they added.
