The company had posted a net loss of Rs 170.4 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal, Reliance Defence and Engineering said in a filing to BSE.
The total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 98.65 crore, over Rs 56.72 crore in the year-ago period.
Total expenses increased to Rs 138.1 crore, over Rs 118.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
"The company is engaged in the business of ship-building and repairs. As such, there are no separate reportable segments," it said.
