Renault-Nissan appoints Jayakumar David as Alliance HR

Renault-Nissan today announced the appointment of Jayakumar David as Alliance Human Resources Director with effect from next month.
Currently, David serves as Vice-President Human Resources at the Renault-Nissan Technology and Business Centre and would continue with the new role from November one, 2017, a company statement said.
"We are pleased to welcome Jayakumar David in his new role and extend our full support to him in successfully executing his mandate..", Alliance Global Director - HR, Africa, Middle East-India, Dominique Dumoulin said.
"At the same time, we are grateful to Christophe Dalby who has been instrumental in implementing and developing the Alliance HR in India for the past four years..", he said.

David to be based out of Chennai would report to Renault India, Country CEO and Managing Director, Sumit Sawhney and Nissan India, Operations, President, Thomas Kuehl.
A post graduate in Human Resources Management from University of Madras, David has over 24 years experience in human resources.
He has served various organisations including Kennametal India, Siemens Technology and Solutions before joining Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India in September 2016, the statement added.
