In his letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, Bishnoi wrote, "As a responsible and law abiding citizen and MP, I am deeply anguished and so are my party leaders and the workers at the contemptible, shameful, dishonourable conduct of Speaker Kuldeep Sharma. "In the context of above, I humbly request you to kindly examine and discuss the role and responsibilities of Speakers of state Vidhan Sabhas separately and especially of Shri Kuldeep Bishnoi." Bishnoi also wrote to Meira Kumar, saying, "I humbly request you to discuss the issue of breach of privilege of a member of Parliament (Hisar MP) and also define some parameters for the Speakers of the state Vidhan Sabhas while discharging their duties and responsibilities, especially refraining from using unparliamentary remarks and acting in partial manner, whatsoever." He urged the Lok Sabha Speaker "to take all necessary actions within your rights to ensure that corrective measures are taken to restore the honour of the esteemed Chair (Assembly Speaker) and remedy my grievances and that of people of Haryana who are deeply hurt."
