Popular TV soap 'Rangrasiya', starring Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani in the lead, is set to bid adieu to the small screen next month.
The show, which started December 30 last year, had a mixed run on the television and was lately said to have garnering low TRPs.
Geetanjali Mishra, who is seen in a supporting role on the show, took to Twitter to share the news with fans.
"It's really sad day of life... Guys please. Forgive me... sorry RR is going off... Just production guy has confirmed. .. 19th is last telecast," Geetanjali wrote.
Ashish, who is also participating on reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', assured to pay a tribute for the followers.
"I can feel the pain the disappointment I am no different,promise there will be a tribute for all RR fans from me this week wait and watch," Ashish tweeted.
Colors' show 'Rangrasiya' initially started off a love story between a village belle Parvati (Sanaya) and a Border Suraksha Dal(BSD) officer Rudra (Ashish).
Later, the daily soap took a seven year leap and moved on to explore the relationship between Myra, a lookalike of Parvati, and Rudra, who is a single father to seven-year old Dhruv and on a new assignment of being a bodyguard to Myra.
When tried to contact channel people, they refused to comment on it.
