: Kerala government today said action would be taken against education department officials responsible for causing causing discrepancies in the preparation of the last year's SSLC examination results, putting the department in a poor light.
Besides the former Pareeksha Bhavan Secretary, data entry operators and supervisors, involved in the preparation of the results, would face department-level action in this regard, Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb told reporters here.
The action would be based on the report submitted by a high-level panel comprising Education Secretary and three IT experts, he said.
The Minister admitted that mistakes had happened in various stages of the preparation and announcement of the results.
The errors in the SSLC results had put the government in an embarrassing position and forced it to withdraw it and announce a revised one.
