According to the complaint lodged by the 17-year-old girl yesterday, accused Vishwanath Mishra used to molest her whenever his wife and younger daughter were not at home, WPSI Amruta Chowre of Kapurbawdi police told PTI.
Mishra lived in Kolshet locality here along with his family. The victim said she used to resist his advances reminding him of their relationship but was often hushed up with dire consequences and death threats, police said.
Fed up of the torture, she finally approached the police and lodged a complaint following which he was booked under section 354, 354(a)(i)(ii) of the IPC.
