The stars have been linked since September when they were spotted partying together on a string of dates in New York City, but they have yet to comment on the romance claims, reported MTV.
In an interview, the rapper described Rihanna in three words, "creative", "inspiring", and "muse".
He did not elaborate on his comments.
Travis will be spending an increasing amount of time with Rihanna in the coming months as the pair has teamed up for a new world tour.
The "Umbrella" superstar will kick off her Anti World Tour in February, ahead of the release of her new album, Anti.
