Rio adopts village under SAGY

Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio has adopted Selouphe village under Dimapur district under Sansad Adarsh Gram yojana (SAGY).
The Central Government had launched SAGY on October 11, 2014 to develop Gram Panchayat into Adarsh Gram.
In his address during the adoption programme of the village on Saturday, Rio called upon the people to work together and to co-operate with each other for the welfare of the village so as to bring about harmony, peace and development to the village, stated an official release here today.
The role is to identify common needs of the village and the needs of vulnerable households.
