The RLD leader was addressing the gathering this evening after a 12 km 'Padyatra' from Kamar to Bathain Gate village.
"He was around nine minutes into his speech when he started trembling but he recovered. A few minutes later he fainted on the stage," said RLD leader Kunvar Narendra Singh who was beside Chaudhary.
Though Chaudhary recovered, but he was not in a state to speak and after a medical check-up returned to Delhi, he said, adding the scorching heat could have taken a toll on him.
