Robbers fire at petrol pump owner, decamp with cash

A petrol pump owner was today shot at by two robbers who also looted cash from his office near Dhindhar village in Muradnagar, police said.
The incident took place this afternoon when two men barged into Dushyant Tyagi's office and asked him to hand over the money at gunpoint, Muradnagar SHO Ummed Singh said.
When Tyagi resisted, the robbers shot him in the thigh. Before fleeing, they picked up Rs 8,000 lying in his desk and also snatched Rs 3,000 from an employee at the petrol pump.
Police said an FIR has been lodged and a manhunt has been launched to nab the robbers, the SHO said.
