Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who will be seen in 'Rock On 2', says the previous movie of this series was a cult film.
"I have seen 'Rock On' with my parents and brother. They all loved it. There was no rock film in Indian cinema till this one happened. 'Rock On' had a huge impact on me and my brother. It was a cult film," Shraddha said here before the live event of 'Rock On 2'.
'Rock On' team is back after eight years with a sequel 'Rock On 2'. Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai reprise their roles from the first part while Shraddha is the new addition.
"I had told my parents if a sequel to this film is made ever, I will be part of it. Here I am in 'Rock On 2'. It is said that when you actually think of something the universe conspires for it," Shraddha said.
In order to promote the movie which is about a band, the ideal way according to the makers was to perform live. The concert happened today.
The 'Aashiqui 2' actress was nervous as well as excited to be performing at the concert.
"I haven't slept the whole night. It is (performing live) a mixture of excitement and butterflies as I have never done live show. I hope I don't disappoint people," she said.
Debutante Shujaat Saudagar is directing the sequel which will hit the theatres in India on November 11.
