Royal Enfield April sales up 42% at 33,918 units

Niche bike maker Royal Enfield today reported 42 per cent increase in its total sales in April at 33,918 units as against 23,818 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales rose up 43 per cent stood at 33,118 units during the month as against 23,180 units in April last year, Royal Enfield said in a statement.
Exports during the month were up 25 per cent at 800 units as against 638 units in the year-ago period, it added.
