Rs 25 cr financial assistance to women SHG: Min

Rajasthan Cooperative Minister Ajay Singh today said that the Cooperative banks have provided financial assistance to the tune of Rs 25 crore for women self-help groups (SHG) in the current year.
Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks also provided a loan of Rs 1.22 crore to women, he said in a statement here.
Besides financial assistance, women were provided facilities for technical training, marketing skills, and mid-day meal related jobs, he said.
Fifteen super markets run by women were also opened in the state, he said.
