Rs 25 lakh worth imported copper rods missing from KSEB godown

Imported copper rods valued at Rs 25 lakh have been found missing from Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB)'s power station at Kakkayam, about 50 kms from here, police said today.
The rods, imported from Canada and meant to be used for generators, were found missing a few days ago from KSEB godown at Kakkayam dam site, police said.
Following a complaint from the Assistant Engineer, KSEB, an FIR had been registered against unknown persons and investigation was going on, they said.
