According to the police, the van was carrying Rs 60 lakh cash meant to be delivered at two branches of the co-operative bank.
As the cash van reached at Vashisth Chowk branch all the six motorcycle-borne men waylaid and overpowered the security guards, police said.
After snatching fire arms of the guards, the robbers took possession of Rs 60 lakh and escorted the vehicle to a co-operative bank.
After the heist, all the six robbers decamped with the booty.
"The robbers damaged the CCTV cameras and computers of the bank," said Akhilesh Kumar, Station Officer of Dholana police station.
Senior police officer reached the spot after the incident.
