The jeep occupant, Hukmaram, could not explain the source of the cash so it was seized, Superintendent of Police Vikas Sharma said here today.
The action was taken in compliance with the Election Commission directives to keep check on the misuse of money in the Lok Sabha elections by candidates or political parties.
