Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader from the district Nana Gawand passed away this morning due to old age.
87-year-old Dyndeo Kisan Gawand, popularly known as Nana, died at his residence, family sources said.
Gawand who is survived by three sons was the former Thane unit head of RSS.
Thane MLA Sanjay Kelkar said Gawand's demise is great loss to the Sangh pariwar in the district.
