According to police, Triloki Nath, the headman of Hardigaura village and the main accused in the killing of 58- year-old Guru Prasad Mishara, was yesterday arrested along with his two sons, Neeraj and Sushil.
Raids are on to nab the remaining three accused in the case, police said.
Meanwhile, station in-charge of Hardi police station, Shiv Prasad Yadav, was suspended following the incident, they added.
Mishra, who used to move RTI applications on development works done by Nath in the village and recently staged a dharna at the district headquarters, was allegedly beaten to death on June 13.
