'Rukh' gets pan-India release on October 27

Mystery drama "Rukh", featuring Manoj Bajpayee, is all set to hit the screens pan-India on October 27.
The movie marks the directorial debut of Atanu Mukherjee, which narrates the journey of a boy rediscovering his lost connections and familial ties, through the secrets and memories he must confront on his way.
"'Rukh' is an intimate portrait of a family in flux, inspired from a few real life events and characters. It deals with themes we can all relate to.
"I'm really happy that I have got to make my debut film with such a talented team and looking forward to the release of the film," Mukherjee said in a release.

Apart from Bajpayee, "Rukh" also features Adarsh Gourav, Smita Tambe and Kumud Mishra.
The movie has been produced by Manish Mundra's Drishyam Films, for which Amit Trivedi has composed the music.
Mundra said in a statement, "'Rukh' is a very special film for us... We are very happy with the way it has shaped up and can't wait for our audience to see it."
The film was a part of the inaugural Drishyam-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2015 and a part of Film Bazaar Recommends 2016.
