Ruling JD(U) MLA surrenders before court in assault case
JD(U) MLA Sarfraz Alam, son of former union minister of state for Home Md Taslimuddin, surrendered before judicial magistrate P K Ratan.
He was later granted bail. The court also granted bail to three other accused in the case.
The court had yesterday issued a non-bailable warrant arrest against Alam, an MLA from Jokihat in Araria district, in connection with the case charging him with assaulting the petrol pump owner, Sanjya Mishra, in Araria a decade ago. PTI CORR AJK MM
