SA group expresses interest for cooperation in transport

Expressing interest to cooperate in transport sector, a delegation from South Africa today met Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai.
The delegation led by Dr Ismail Vadi, Minister of Roads and Transport of Gauteng Provincial Government, Republic of South Africa, appreciated transport system and Delhi Metro services during his meeting with Rai.
Both the ministers expressed their enthusiasm to cooperate in transport sector which would ultimately benefit the citizens, an official said.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Delhi Commission for Safai Karamcharis met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Delhi Secretariat.
The sanitation workers thanked Kejriwal for sorting out the issue of their outstanding salary dues.

Kejriwal assured them that the government is keen to work for betterment of sanitation worker. "We want to do more for you in the days to come," he said.
