Manoj Kumar Bhuyan, who was expelled from the Parliament on cash-for-query in 2007, today rejoined Lalu Prasad-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
He was taken back at a function presided by RJD's Jharkhand legislature party leader Annapurna Devi, who said Bhuyan's comeback would help the party strengthen in the state ahead of the elections.
Bhuyan had been dismissed from RJD after former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee expelled him along with some other MPs in connection with taking 'bribe' to ask questions in the House.
Bhuyan had represented Lok Sabha from Palamau then.
