Campaigning for Block Samiti and Zila parishad elections in various villages in the district, the local Congress MP said, "We have not seen so much terror and fear among the people of Punjab and people have been threatening not to vote for Congress."
"I have been receiving complaints on daily basis and insecurity prevails among Congress workers," she alleged.
At many places our candidates were forced to withdraw from the fray as they were threatened by police, she claimed.
"We have been demanding President rule in the state as Akali goons have been ruling using police as their workers," she said.
"It is a fit case for President's rule in Punjab as those responsible for protecting people have been resorting to such killings," she alleged.
