Ruling Shiromani Akali Dal today said it has finalised its manifesto and it will be released on April 21 at Bathinda.
Polling in all the 13 seats of the state will take place on April 30. SAD is in alliance with BJP in the state.
"The manifesto of the party has been finalised and it will be released on April 21 at Bathinda," party president Sukhbir Singh Badal said today after addressing a poll rally.
However, Sukhbir refused to divulge details about the manifesto, saying that it would be made public on Monday.
The SAD president said that the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) will be prepared after the declaration of results of General Elections.
"All political parties of NDA will sit together and prepare the CMP," he said.
Launching an attack on former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, Badal alleged he was an outsider in his own constituency as he had not been seen by his voters for the last several years.
"He (Amarinder) has been saying Arun Jaitley is an outsider but no resident of his own city Patiala can say that he has met him... He is an outsider in his own city as he did not meet persons in his own locality," claimed Sukhbir.
SAD secretary general Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa along with senior Akali leaders including Tota Singh, party's general secretaries Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, Prem Singh Chandumajra and SAD secretary Daljit Singh Cheema were the members of manifesto committee, he said.
