The foundress of Param Shakti Peeth located in Vrindavan, Rithambara wrote a letter to Uttarakhand government stating that the orphans would need support and she was ready to take care of their upbringing.
"In this calamity, many children have lost their parents who will now need support," she said. Param Shakti Peeth, a voluntary organisation has requested the state government to allow them to support the upbringing of these orphans.
She has also directed the ashram staff to collect information about those children who were separated from their families in this tragedy.
