Sadhya Arora case: Joint House Panel reviews progress

In order to further review and ascertain the progress in the alleged medical negligence in the death of Sadhya Arora, son of MLC Ramesh Arora, in Government Medical College Jammu recently, a meeting of the Joint House Committee of Legislative Council was held here today under the chairmanship of MLC, Ghulam Nabi Monga.
Legislators, G M Saroori, Devinder Singh Rana, Dr S Bashir Ahmad Shah Veeri, Vibodh Gupta, Firdous Ahmad Tak, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Superintendent of Police (Crime) Mubashir Lattifi, Senior Special Secretary Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Wani and senior officers of Legislative Councilattended the meeting.
The Committee reviewed the latest status and findings related to the investigations which were submitted by the investigating agency and discussed the pros and cons related to the summary of the case viz-a-viz treatment of late Sadhya Arora and circumstances that led to his death.

Earlier, SSP (Crime) placed the findings of the verification conducted on the case before the panel.
