Stating that it has been decided to bring 'Safai karmacharis' in the category of labour force, Das said they can register themselves for Rs 10 to come into 'Mazdoor Kalyan Yozana', which will help them get up to Rs 4 lakh in case of death and accident.
They have to deposit Rs 100 in the welfare fund every year, he said.
A sum of Rs 30,000 would be given as assistance to female or male labourer during the marriage of their son or daughter, Das said.
