The company had registered a net profit of Rs 76.32 lakh in the October-December quarter of 2013-14.
The housing finance arm of the crisis-hit Sahara Group also registered a dip in its total income at Rs 4.42 crore during the third quarter of current fiscal, down from Rs 5 crore in previous fiscal, it said in a filing to the BSE.
For the nine months ended December 2014, company's net profit fell to Rs 1.86 crore from Rs 1.91 crore a year ago.
Sahara Housing Finance scrip ended 4.7 per cent higher at Rs 46.80 on BSE.

Panasonic Appliances Q3 profit at Rs 19 lakhs * Panasonic Appliances India, a subsidiary of Japanese electronics giant Panasonic, has registered a standalone net profit of Rs 19 lakh for the third quarter ended December.
The company had posted a standalone net loss of Rs 1.42 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Net sales during October-December 2014 quarter were up 23.49 per cent to Rs 52.99 crore as against Rs 42.91 crore a year ago, Panasonic Appliances said in a BSE filing.
Panasonic is delisting Panasonic Appliances India from the bourses here and will make Rs 56 crore offer for buying the public shareholders.
It plans to acquire little over 25 lakh publicly held shares of its subsidiary at a price of Rs 220 apiece.
Panasonic Appliances's shares today closed at Rs 314.30 on the BSE, down 0.33 per cent from their previous close.

Panacea Biotec Q3 net loss at Rs 3.48 crore * Drug maker Panacea Biotec today reported a net loss of Rs 3.48 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
Net sales of the company however rose to Rs 138.15 crore for the third quarter, as compared to Rs 105.80 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Panacea Biotec Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Panacea shares today closed at Rs 133.20 apiece on the BSE, up 0.04 per cent from its previous close.
