Salesman shot by robbers

A salesman working with a local gas agency was allegedly shot today by robbers when he resisted their attempt to loot cash bag here, police said.
Satinder Yadav, who hails from Bihar, was working for Ranjit Gas Agency in Sirhind.
Yadav and other three employees of the agency were delivering LPG gas cylinders when two unidentified motorcycle- borne youths reached the station and tried to snatch their cash bag, police said.
When Yadav resisted, they fired on him and fled.
Yadav was seriously injured and taken to Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib from where he was referred to PGIMR, Chandigarh, but succumbed to his injuries, police said.

After the incident, senior police officers reached on the spot and started investigation.
The police has received a video clip of the accused.
