The differences between Bollywood's top two Khans --Salman and Shah Rukh-- seem to be melting away as both actors acknowledged and hugged each at an awards function here, much to the surprise of the audience.
The Star Guild awards held here last evening brought the two superstars together under the same roof, where they exchanged pleasantries and even spoke for a bit.
Earlier, the two tried never to cross each other's path.
Salman was the host for the award show and was on the stage while Shah Rukh was seated alongside other members of the film fraternity. It was 'Dabangg' Khan who took the initiative and asked -- "Shah Rukh kya ho raha hai?"
He even congratulated SRK on the success of 'Chennai Express' to which the latter waved, acknowledging Salman's compliment.
Salman also made SRK say 'Jai Ho' (Salman's upcoming movie), which the King Khan jovially obliged to.
When Shah Rukh came on stage to take away 'Entertainer of the Year Award' - Salman was on stage and they embraced each other.
Shah Rukh, while accepting the award, said, it feels special to get this award in the company of Salman who is one of the greatest entertainers the country has ever seen.
Last year, the hug between Shah Rukh and Salman at Congress leader Baba Siddique's Iftaar party led everyone to believe that the two had become friends again, but they refused to elaborate on it.
The two Khans turned foes after their spat at Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008. Since then the two have always avoided each other in public as well.
