Private housing scam accused Shyam Kishore today surrendered in a local court and was sent to 14 days judicial custody.
A Director of Sanjivini Buildcon and absconding since the Rs 500 crore scam was unearthed, Kishore surrendered in the Judicial Magistrate court here.
The previous government in Jharkhand had recommended handing over the case to the CBI in January this year after the irregularities surfaced last year.
Several customers, who invested in the Buildcon to get flats, had filed police complaints that Sanjivini Buildcon had cheated them of money, leading to several arrests of persons connected with the firm.
